Okay so I have SOOO much to share but I feel like I have to share it quick or I will forget what the heck I was going to say. LOL!
So bear with me...I might get a little ADD.
Let me just first say...
Some of my professors don't know the meaning of spring break.
Ugh, yes I have hw.
How depressing.
My goal is to get it all done today so I dont have to worry about it this week.
yes, today...as in the few short 7 hours we have left of today.
after this blog of course. ::wink wink::
Oh and my oven...it is a tiny little thing.
I HATE new technology. literally.
I am completely old school when it comes to washer, dryers, ovens, etc.
Because let's face it...they don't make them hardy like they used to.
Now a days its all fancy and pretty.
With a FANCY price tag.
NO THANKS!
I'll keep my 1990 appliances that have lasted 20 plus years
over the new 2014 appliance that you will have to replace in 6 mths to a year.
not to mention...
they are sooooo TINY!
Two of my step children are spending the night tonight and I have to figure out
how to fit giant chicken pieces in a small pan that will fit in my tiny oven.
stupid oven is going to make me order in dinner.
But my step kids like my cooking
so uhhh I HAVE to cook!
Let's get to the good stuff!
I have become addicted to IG.
Instagram for those of you who don't have one.
get one!
now...hurry!
I like IG because I follow people and their lives and it's like people watching
but online.
no, it's not creepy.
maybe a little.
whatev.
ANYHOO....
I follow people who are farmers, people who own boutiques, people who cook, workout, etc
It's a lot of DIY and small business.
PLEASE support small businesses!
So I came across these local farmer.
http://yonderwayfarm.com/
They are in a small town near Houston and they raise
grass fed, free range, no gmo meat!
If you think your organic meat from sprouts or whole foods is the real deal...
BLESS YOUR HEART
you're missing out!
That stuff...
yes, even at the fancy grocery store is not the real deal.
you need to know what you're eating. Like literally know where it came from
to really know what you're eating. Just because the package says it...eh, doesn't mean anything.
You have to get from a farm that is completely grass fed and free range to be eating the good stuff.
trust me, when you taste it...you will see the difference.
Just go to their website and read up on it. You will be intrigued!
The love they have for their animals and live stock...it's beautiful!
You know you're getting good meat when the farmer loves his livestock with his whole heart!
Look at that meat! So delicious! I am making those hindquarters tonight.
I love fresh chicken! We don't eat breasts (way too dry) but we love legs and thighs!
YUMMMMY!
And that ground beef...we had the other night.
HOLY cow (pun intended) was it divine!!
And yes, it is pricey but remember...you get what you pay for.
You want the health benefits, you pay more.
Meat IS good for you.
we are human...we are bred and born to eat it.
HELLOOO...carnivores! duh!
I couldn't imagine my life without meat in it.
You just have to know where your meat came from and what it eats.
Now...
I have seen some of my friends interested in coconut oil.
YES....IT IS AMAZING!
Go get you some!
The things you can do with that stuff is amazing!
I don't have time to list them all but I can promise to make a post about a few of them
if plenty of you are interested.
You HAVE to get organic, unrefined, cold pressed coconut oil to get the full benefits.
I use it as a hot oil treatment for my hair.
My dandruff has never been so bad but man this oil has almost cured it!
Not to mention, my hair feels healthy and has grown so fast!
I use it as a make up remover and lip moisturizer.
I put some on my eyebrows and eyelashes before bed to help them grow!
I give a tablespoon to my dogs to help them with allergies and digestive issues.
My EB has cancer and bad allergies but boy this stuff has made him look good!
And soon I will be trying the oil pulling method.
It is where you swish it in your mouth for 20 minutes...
it helps whiten teeth and pull out all the icky out of our bodies!
Can't wait to try that...gotta go to the store for more oil though! lol
This is what you need to look for. And oye, this is camera phone. not my fancy camera. LOL
Another health topic for todays blog post is essential oils.
I have been researching them like crazy and I am intrigued.
My health is pretty crappy.
I don't have health insurance
and even when I did...I hate going to the doctors because they have no clue what is wrong with me.
And who wants to take meds only to be a guinea pig or to have more problems from the side effects.
So apparently essential oils are a HUGE natural relief.
I am going with Young Living Essential Oils.
I ordered my starter kit.
I will make a blog post on that too for those who are interested.
Int he mean time this is who I follow for all the details on it as well as their benefits.
http://www.theandersoncrewblog.com/p/we-have-been-so-if-youd-like-to.html
I will let you know when my kit comes in and how it helps all of our symptoms.
Okay well I have homework to do!
Please feel free to ask questions! I will update with all this new stuff over spring break!
OH OH OH....
almost forgot!
I decided I am going to join a gym! WHOOP!
no..I dont work out. HA, could you imagine? Me? weights? HAHAHA no.
Zumba? yes!
So let's get fit for summer!
YAY!
BTW Nate has his evaluation for PDD-NOS on the 20th!
nervous.excited.anxious.worried.hopeful
I will keep you all updated on that as well!
:)
