Every year we make it a tradition to see

Someone at the Rodeo as a part of our anniversary ritual. 

We go early

I drink beer

He drinks soda lol

I eat fried oreos

He eats a turkey leg

We window shop

Then we watch a concert

Our favorite seats are field seats

We watch the rodeo

It brings back memories for Randy bc his dad did rodeo

This year we are seeing

he is supposed to go back to work tomorrow but he told them

so he goes back EARLY (4-6am) Thursday

I am STILL not use to it all

I get so lonely

the loneliness causes crankiness

and then I get BLEH

Which brings me to this next topic.

I am part of an Easter card/gift exchange for some OFW (oild filed wives)

and I really want to do something cute and creative for the people I got

like a key chain maybe?

all is well here at the Trevino household

I STILL havent had Nathans first year pics done

BUT I am going to be the typical odd ball and instead of one year pics

I am fostering a precious little pooch

we are like 85/90% sure she is doberman

though we just discovered she could be dobie/rott mix

she was found at a barn and she is as sweet as can be

I can tell she has never been around humans and therefore doesnt understand

how to act, how to eat, how to play

she's learning

and well

she needs a home soon

We are having issues with Cooper (basset/schnauzer mix).

He is apparently the pack leader

alpha male dog

BUT is realy getting TOO dominant

Randy was locked out of the house the other day waiting on me to get home

He had to pee

went out back and peed behind the fence

Cooper showed him who runs the place and went and marked the spot where Randy went

oh. um. okay.

LMAO

 

 

I took all FOUR dogs to get vaccinated the other day. Holy moses my hand was on fire

Here are the weigh ins

Sam (toy schnauzer) 6 lbs! LOL

Tyson (english bulldog) 42 lbs (he lost weight bc of age)

Cooper (basset/schnauzer mix) 36 pounds at 8 mths!...he is STRONG

Brownie( dobie/rott mix) 26lbs at 5 mths! she will be HUGE!

 

They are all set for the year except the younger two who need to go back for one or two more boosters.

It took me writing on my new safety sticker to realize

Here's our "brown-girl" aka Brownie

So I have a serious biter

The youngest to be exact

He bites when he's excited

Angry

Tired

Sad

Or just because

Of course I am teaching him it's not ok but he doesn't understand 

This is his way of expressing himself and testing his boundaries

aMirah was always biten in daycare and now her brother is the biter

back then i didnt make a big deal

HUgs and kisses then move on

I know the daycare couldnt tell me who bit her and honestly

WHY does it matter

this is NORMAL behavior for the age group

the vampire stage is no biggie to me

HAHAHAH!

 But yes, I need to get this crazy toddler to slow his roll

he's like already in the terrible two stage.

I was going to make this HUGE delicious meal for dinner

BUT

just got the call from hubby who is 3 hours away that he wont be home until late

(staff meeting today)

do I still whip it all up?

my kids are VERY tall for their age so booo

I got a call today

from a SUPER long lost friend who I have missed so much!

We worked at the carwash together years ago and we lost touch when she quit.

well she found me

and I am soooo happy!

We laugh for hours on the phone

Her mom makes the best "i dont know what they are called but some sort of delish dessert from her country" ERRRMUHGAWD my mouth is drooling just thinking of them.

 

I am starting to decorate the house and I am excited about it!

The front yard is FINALLY coming along ::yay!!::

And I bought some super cute stuff off BBBS to decorate
