Day2: Redbox and Carl Jrs

Apparently Nathan was amused that I got a great night of sleep the night before because last night, he was back to his old routine of waking every 3 hours for a bottle or just for comfort.

 

::rips hair out and sips coffee::

 

Overall though the kid is doing better.

He still gets his usual round of meds and every now and then feels bleh but he is better.

 

Over the past week he has soaked in so much

He claps

He says "thank you" in his own giberish of course

he shakes his head no

loves a good game of chase

has grown very close and attached to his "daddeeee" (:

 

His favorite routine is running to each of the girls' rooms to see what is going on and to join in on their fun...all while of course being a little brother and destroying anything and everything they could possibly be enjoying at the moment.

Today as Randy and I just chilled in our jammies and watched Redbox movies, he napped or played around the house.

ate an orange like a dainty soul *he gets that from his dad* hahaha

and teased Cooper through the glass.

He may or may not have eaten random things off the floor ::shrugs::

I'm not one of THOSE mothers who goes bananas over crap like that

He eats a bug?

good protein

dropped his baba in the dirt?

ah, building his immunities

 

No, I don't do cart covers,I have never used a changing table (what the hell are the point of those anyways) I dont carry hand sanitizer, I bottle feed, use disposable diapers, and he may not be wearing socks if it is 30 degrees out.

It's just not something I go nuts about.

So we are trying to watch our movies...

amirah pretty much hangs out in her room or goes in and out throughout the day playing outside with Coop. And Kailah...

Well today is a "bleh" day for her.

Somehow she is off and therefore a cranky pants.

Asking the same question over and over

And this continues THROUGHOUT the WHOLE day.

I will praise God and celebrate with the biggest glass of wine while sitting in the gym at 5pm this evening.

 

School has been out too long so she's getting off routine and antsy causing this "rough repetitive pattern" at home.
HOWEVER
5pm came
and
we drive to WESTWOOD
it's closed

I just sit in the parking lot
The girls are like uh mom where is everyone??
I explain that they don't reopen from the holiday until next week.
Oddly enough
they dont freak out...sad but they have come to terms with it
So we decide to go and grab some dinner which of course Randy wants Carl Jrs
He is obsessed with the double Memphis burger
To me it tastes the same as Burger King but more expensive

Nathan finally starts enjoying food again, though we didnt get him a meal this time. Just let him nibble off ours. And then he wanted an orange.

 

This kid is just like his sisters...loves him some fruit!

*Eh, it was ok...my favorite is still from the 90s, you know the one where Michelle Pfieffer played catwoman. Loved it!
